Polignano a Mare, Puglia
Polignano a Mare is a town of 16,294 inhabitants in the province of Bari The oldest part of town stands on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
The economy is mainly based on tourism, agriculture and fishing.
Of particular interest are its natural caves and the historically important historical center and the remains of Roman rule, among them the bridge of Trajan way, still viable, through Monachile Lama.
